BIG 12 REVIEW: WEEK 1

College Football is finally here!!! Below is a quick look at the game recaps for all Big 12 teams that started thier seasons today:

BIG 12 SOUTH:

BAYLOR..............24
WAKE FOREST ........21
Robert Griffin completed his first eight passes, finishing with 136 yards passing and a touchdown, to help Baylor beat Wake Forest 24-21 on Saturday.

With a record crowd looking on, Gundy and his Cowboys lived up to the expectations that came with the best preseason ranking in school history. Zac Robinson threw two touchdown passes to star receiver Dez Bryant and also scored on a quarterback sneak as No. 9 Oklahoma State beat 13th-ranked Georgia 24-10 on Saturday.

NORTH DAKOTA.......17
Taylor Potts threw for two touchdowns and ran for two others to lead Texas Tech past North Dakota 38-13 on Saturday night. The Red Raiders scored three of their five TDs on the ground, unusual for a team known for its pass-happy offense.

Colt McCoy passed for 317 yards and two touchdowns and No. 2 Texas romped past Louisiana-Monroe 59-20 on Saturday night.

Jerrod Johnson threw for 349 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score to lead Texas A&M to a 41-6 win over New Mexico on Saturday.

All Sam Bradford could do was watch as his Oklahoma Sooners lost their chance for a perfect season. Max Hall threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to wide-open McKay Jacobson in the back of the end zone with 3:03 left, giving No. 20 BYU a 14-13 victory over No. 3 Oklahoma on Saturday night, giving us the 1st BCS upset of the season.

Austen Arnaud threw for 227 yards [2 TD - both to Marquis Hamilton] and Iowa State beat North Dakota State to snap a 10-game losing streak, making coach Paul Rhoads a winner in his debut.

Blaine Gabbert threw for 319 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a fourth in a stellar starting debut to lead rebuilding Missouri to a 37-9 victory over Illinois on Saturday, its fifth win in a row in the neutral-site series.

KANSAS ST...........21
MASSACHUSETTES...17
Kansas State had a less-than-stellar start to the season, holding off Massachusetts 21-17 on Saturday. Kansas State bumbled its way through Snyder's first game in three years, turning it over three times and allowing a blocked punt return for a touchdown to fritter away most of an 18-point halftime lead.

Todd Reesing sparked slow-starting Kansas with two rushing touchdowns, then passed for two more to lead the No. 25 Jayhawks past Northern Colorado.

Roy Helu Jr. ran for 152 yards and three touchdowns and Zac Lee passed for 213 yards and two scores in his first start as No. 24 Nebraska defeated Florida Atlantic 49-3 on Saturday night.
